New parents wishing to enroll their children in the Lebanese Maronite Monastery Schools must follow the admission and registration procedures outlined in the following steps:
Step 1: Introductory Meetings
Parents should contact the school's secretary to schedule an appointment with the school's head/manager.
The head/manager of the school receives the new parents, explaining the school's vision and mission, as well as the steps to be taken during this meeting.
Parents, along with their child, meet with the stage coordinator who presents the educational methods and curriculum used in the school, provides necessary guidance and information, and presents the contents of the "Learner's Guide."
The stage secretary fills out a special form for the new learner. This form is then sent to the head/manager's office for the evaluation of their file before final registration.
Parents visit the guidance office "Bureau d’orientation" where all financial details related to tuition fees and other matters are clearly explained.
Step 2: Entrance Examination
The kindergarten stage coordinator administers an entrance examination for the new learner. The examination includes an oral test and another determined by the administration.
The primary stage coordinator (from Grade 1 to Grade 6) conducts an entrance examination for the new learner in the following subjects: foreign language (French or English), Arabic, and mathematics. There is also an oral interview and a psychological test conducted by the school psychologist.
